4Networking Profiles Booklets

Impresario suggested, and produced, a trial for 4Networking; the 2nd largest and fastest growing breakfast networking company in the UK.

The idea was to produce a tangible networking tool whereby members of 4N could purchase a page in a booklet which would enable them to promote their company and its services.

The specification of the booklet was as follows:
32 page A6 (148mm x 105mm) portrait – this is a quarter the size of A4 and is sized to fit a purse or trouser pocket.
Printed in full colour throughout onto 150gsm gloss art paper – this paper is thick enough for there to be little, or no, showthrough whilst not being too bulky.
Folded, stitched and trimmed – ensuring that the booklet is robust enough to stand the rigours of a few days in a purse or back pocket without coming apart.

4Networking booklet

The concept differs from a standard directory as the booklet would target a small geographical area such as North Wiltshire and with 100 booklets for each contributor, there would be several thousand in a small area.

The booklet could be targeted to those people who expressed an interest in any of the products or services profiled.

For example, while at a social event, someone may mention to you in passing that it is near the end of the tax year. That person may also mention that they would like to know a good I.F.A. and you could suggest that they speak to one of those profiled in the booklet.

The person with whom you are having the discussion will almost certainly flick through the rest of the booklet and might, for instance, notice the page for an Accountant. It may jog his mind that he needs to contact a good Accountant and the fact that he has been given the booklet by someone that he knows, is probably a good enough reason to contact that accountancy firm.

In this example, you are networking for everyone else in the booklet and everyone else in the booklet is networking for you.
